The Smurfs their first foray into 3D for the big screen in Columbia Pictures / Sony Pictures Animation hybrid of live-action family comedy, animated, "The Smurfs". When the evil sorcerer Gargamel chase the Smurfs from their village, they are forced through a portal into their world and ours, landing in the middle of New York's Central Park. Only as large as three apples and place in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way back to their villages before Gargamel chasing them.
